Summer is back and K-pop girl groups WOOAH, fromis_9 and STAYC are gearing up to match the energy of the season with new music and content.
Girls group WOOAH will release their second EP “Unframed” on June 17, their agency announced on Friday. “Unframed” comes two years after WOOAH’s first EP, “JOY”, which was released in 2022.
WOOAH released their digital single “Blush” on the 8th of April, and the girl group reunited with the song’s composer Ryan Jhun for “Unframed”.
Audrey, from the dance crew Jam Republic from Mnet’s dance survival show Street Woman Fighter 2 (20/23), and Nain, the leader of the dance crew Turns from Street Dance Girls Fighter (20/21), will participate as choreographers for the new tracks.
WOOAH’s second EP, “Unframed”, will be released on streaming platforms on 17 June.
Girl group fromis_9 announced on social media that they will be holding a photo exhibition from 5 to 14 July to celebrate the release of their photo book “From Summer” on Thursday.
The photo book will be available for pre-order at Weverse Shop and withmuu from 28 June. The photo exhibition will be held free of charge at Geumho Alver in Seongdong, eastern Seoul. This is the first time since the girl group’s debut that a photo exhibition has been held to coincide with the release of the photo book.
“After the photo exhibition in July, we are working hard to prepare for the release of the new album in August,” their agency said. “We are planning a variety of activities and appreciate the support and anticipation from our fans, flover.”
In the meantime, fromis_9 will be performing at the ‘Weverse Con Festival’ on the 16th of June and the ‘Waterbomb Festival 2024’ in Seoul, Busan and Incheon on the 5th of July, the 27th of July and the 3rd of August respectively.
