ILLIT member Wonhee has sustained an ankle injury.
On June 14, ILLIT’s agency Belift Lab announced on the global fan community Weverse that Wonhee injured her ankle during a shoot this week and is currently receiving medical treatment. They informed fans that the medical team advised her to wear a brace and minimize strenuous movements for the time being. Hence, she’ll participate in the Weverse Festival sitting.
Belift Lab added, “Although the artist is determined to participate in all scheduled activities, we prioritize her recovery and will manage future activities flexibly based on the medical team’s advice.”
According to the agency, Wonhee will participate in the ‘AliExpress 2024 Weverse Con Festival’ on the 15th at Incheon Inspire Resort, but she will perform sitting and without choreography.

ILLIT, comprising Wonhee, Minju, Yunah, and Moka, debuted on March 25, 2024. Their song ‘Magnetic’ entered the Billboard Hot 100 at 91st place on April 20, marking the first time a K-pop debut song achieved this feat. ILLIT also set the record for being the fastest K-pop artist to enter this chart.
