EXO’s Kai continues to dominate both the fashion and music worlds, gracing the May 2025 issue of W Korea in a striking collaboration with luxury watchmaker Hublot. The pictorial captures Kai’s signature charisma, blending high-fashion aesthetics with his magnetic stage presence. While details about the shoot remain under wraps, fans have praised the visuals, which highlight his evolution as a style icon and performer.

The release coincides with Kai’s highly anticipated fourth mini-album, Wait on Me, his first solo project in two years following military service. The EP features the Afrobeats-infused title track and the pre-release single Adult Swim, which Kai describes as a turning point in his artistic journey. “If I were the Kai from a few years back, I might not have opted for this song,” he shared in an interview, emphasizing how his experiences over the past two years shaped the album’s direction.

Kai’s 2025 solo concert tour, KAION, sold out immediately upon announcement, with shows kicking off in Seoul on May 17–18 before spanning nine Asian cities. During the tour, he plans to surprise fans with EXO medleys, bridging his solo work with group nostalgia. “I think fans will enjoy that,” he teased during a recent showcase, where EXO’s Suho hosted, showcasing the group’s enduring camaraderie.

While EXO has not announced a full-group comeback for 2025, members are actively pursuing solo projects. Kai’s activities—spanning music, fashion, and variety shows—reflect EXO’s current focus on individual growth, with Baekhyun working on a full album and Xiumin also preparing solo releases earlier this year.  Kai’s return signals not just a personal milestone but a celebration of EXO’s lasting influence as each member carves their unique path forward.
