EXO is making a powerful comeback with their 8th full-length album, “REVERXE,” set for release in the first quarter of 2026. This new album marks a return to the group’s iconic debut-era concept, spotlighting the members’ individual superpowers such as teleportation and water manipulation, and weaving a surreal narrative within everyday settings. The group will reunite with six members: Suho, Kai, D.O., Chanyeol, Sehun, and Lay, reigniting the magic that made EXO a global phenomenon.
The concept photos and MV teaser for “I’m Home” reveal a nostalgic and emotional atmosphere, with each member portrayed in distinct, dreamlike environments that hint at their unique abilities. The trailer closes with the group gathering beneath the “Tree of Life,” symbolizing unity and the opening of a new world, a theme deeply rooted in EXO’s universe storyline. The album’s title, “REVERXE,” is a creative reinterpretation of the word “Reverse,” signifying a return and the beginning of a new chapter for EXO.
Fans can expect a blend of cinematic visuals, heartfelt storytelling, and the group’s signature blend of pop and R&B. The comeback will be celebrated with the “EXO’verse” fan meeting in Incheon, where members will perform new tracks from “REVERXE” alongside fan favorites like “First Snow,” which is currently climbing the winter music charts. The album promises to reignite the “universe boom” that EXO sparked since their 2012 debut, captivating both longtime fans and new listeners.
