K-pop boy band Super Junior will release their new single “Show Time” on Tuesday in celebration of the 19th anniversary of their debut, their agency SM Entertainment said on Friday.

“Show Time” is a funk-pop song that begins with impressive brass and vocals, expressing the group’s showmanship through groovy rhythms and guitars, the band’s agency said.
The lyrics discuss the band’s ambitions for the year.

“Show Time” is the first new song to be released in around a year and five months since the release of the boyband’s 11th full-length album, “The Road” (2023).

Super Junior will embark on the “Super Show Spin-Off: Halftime” concert tour across eight cities in Asia, starting by performing at the KSPO Dome in Songpa, southern Seoul, on 22 and 23 June.

The boyband will also perform in Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Taipei, Taiwan and Jakarta, Indonesia.

Super Junior made their debut in 2005 with the release of their first full-length album, Super Junior05.
They are widely regarded as one of the pioneering K-pop boybands of the 2000s, known for many hits including ‘U’ (2006), ‘Rokuko’ (2008), ‘Sorry Sorry’ (2009), ‘Mr. Simple’ (2011) and more.
