Stray Kids, the dynamic K-Pop boy group known for their innovative music and exciting performances, have reached a monumental milestone. On the 13th of June, according to US local time, it was announced by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) that Stray Kids had received their third gold certification in the US.
This achievement makes them only the second K-pop act ever to receive this honour, following in the footsteps of the world-renowned BTS.
The RIAA awarded Stray Kids Gold certification for their hit Back Door, which sold over 500,000 units in the US.
Back Door is celebrated for its theatrical and distinctive sound, which blends hip-hop with pop and EDM elements, all infused with a festival-like energy that captivates listeners.
Following the success of MANIAC and God’s Menu, this is the group’s third single to be certified Gold by the RIAA.
