Group History
RIIZE’s formation began in 2022 when Eunseok and Seunghan were revealed as part of SM Entertainment’s SMROOKIES trainee team. In May 2023, it was announced that Sungchan and Shotaro would leave NCT to join the new group. The group generated significant pre-debut buzz, with their official Instagram account launching on August 1, 2023.On November 21, 2023, SM Entertainment announced that Seunghan would indefinitely halt all group activities due to controversial pictures and videos from his past that went viral online.
