Following a stellar performance on major charts both domestically and internationally in 2023, all eyes are on K-pop sensation NewJeans as they gear up for what promises to be another triumphant year in 2024.
The latest Billboard chart released on January 3 showcases NewJeans’ second EP, ‘Get Up,’ climbing three spots from the previous week to secure an impressive No.
103 on the Billboard 200. Notably, ‘Get Up’ has etched its name in history, boasting the longest-charting period among 4th gen K-pop group albums, maintaining a presence on the chart for 23 consecutive weeks since reaching the top on August 5.
The title track of ‘Get Up,’ titled ‘Super Shy,’ continues to bask in long-term success on the Billboard charts, holding positions at No. 137 on ‘Global (excluding the U.S.)’ and No. 188 on ‘Global 200’ for an astonishing 25 consecutive weeks. Mega-hits ‘Ditto’ and ‘OMG’ also stand strong, securing spots at No. 128 and No. 142, respectively, on ‘Global (excluding the U.S.)’ over a year after their initial release.
