K-pop group HIGHLIGHT is making waves with their upcoming 6th mini album From Real to Surreal, set for release on April 28. The album marks a significant moment for the quartet, as they simultaneously revive their original BEAST identity for the prerelease single Endless Ending—their first track under that name in nine years. This dual-brand strategy follows a 2024 agreement with former agency Cube Entertainment to reclaim the BEAST trademark, allowing the group to honor both their past and present musical identities.
The Surreal A Ver. concept photo, part of a series teasing the album’s themes, blends dreamlike visuals with the group’s signature sophistication. Agency Around Us Entertainment describes the album as a bridge between HIGHLIGHT’s current artistry and BEAST’s iconic legacy, with Endless Ending serving as a nostalgic ode to longtime fans. The track’s lyrics juxtapose the finality of a breakup with the lingering warmth of shared memories, a metaphor for the group’s own journey through rebranding and reinvention.

Originally debuting as BEAST in 2009, the group now consists of four members after Jang Hyunseung’s 2016 departure and Junhyung’s exit in 2019. Their upcoming release underscores their resilience and commitment to evolving while staying rooted in the musical DNA that defined their early hits.
