Girl group Billlie will hold their first fan concert in Korea on May 4, the group’s agency, Mystic Story, announced on Monday. The concert, titled “Your B, I’m B (Billlie’ve You)”, will be held at the Myunghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeongpo, western Seoul.
The concert will be the first activity in 11 months where all seven members of Billlie will be present. Members Moon Sua and Suhyeon resumed their activities with the group last week after taking a temporary break last year due to health problems.
A poster for “Your B, I’m B (Belllie’ve You)” was uploaded to the group’s social media pages at midnight on Sunday. The poster also features the Lovers, fantasy characters who are part of the group’s B-side lore. The design is meant to show Billlie’s gratitude to their fans, called Belllie’ve, who have sent their love and support to the group, according to Mystic Story.
Billlie debuted in October 2021 with their first EP, ‘the Billage of perception: chapter one’. The seven members of the group are Moon Sua, Suhyeon, Haram, Tsuki, Siyoon, Haruna and Sheon. The group released their first Japanese EP, ‘Knock-on Effect’, in February this year and held performances in Tokyo and Osaka following the release.
Who Are Billlie?
Billlie (KR: 빌리; JP: ビリー) is a seven member girl group under MYSTIC Story. Originally a six-member group, they debuted on 10 November 2021 with the mini album The Billage of Perception : Chapter One.In February 2020, MYSTIC Story opened an Instagram account for MYSTIC Rookies, a pre-debut team of their seven trainees: Moon Sua, Suhyeon, Haram, Tsuki, Siyoon, Lee Soomin and Takeuchi Miyu, all of whom were potential members of the agency’s first girl group. However, Soomin and Miyu left the team in August 2020 and May 2021 respectively.
On 4 May 2021, MYSTIC Story confirmed plans for the group’s debut in the second half of the year. On 14 September 2021, it was revealed that they would debut in November, and on 27 September 2021, a series of dance covers were launched in partnership with 1MILLION Dance Studio, the first of which was Beyoncé’s “Diva”, performed by Moon Sua, Tsuki and Siyoon. On the 3rd of October 2021, a cover of Cardi B’s “Up” was released, performed by Suhyeon, Haram and new member Haruna, officially revealing her as the sixth and final member. On 10 October 2021, a cover of Ashnikko’s “Slumber Party” was released, this time performed by the entire group.
2021: Debut with The Billage of Perception : Chapter One, addition of Sheon and “The Collective Soul and Unconscious: Snowy Night” On the 11th of October it was announced that this group would be called “Billlie” and would include the previously revealed trainees Moon Sua, Suhyeon, Haram, Tsuki, Siyoon and Haruna, and on the 28th of October a fan song entitled “Flowerld” was released on the group’s YouTube channel. It was later confirmed that the song would be included on the group’s debut album. It was also announced that the group would be releasing their first mini-album, The Billage of Perception : Chapter One, on 10th November.
On the 30th of October, concept photos of the group and members for their debut mini album were released, starting with individual photos of Haram, Tsuki and Haruna, followed by photos of Moon Sua, Siyoon and Suhyeon and a group photo a few hours later, then on the 19th of November, MYSTIC Story announced that former Girls Planet 999 contestant Kim Suyeon would be joining Billlie under the stage name Sheon. On the 14th of December, Billlie released the digital single “The Collective Soul and Unconscious: Snowy Night”.
2022: The Collective Soul and Unconscious: Chapter One, “Trail of Yoon: Patbingsu”, The Billage of Perception: Chapter Two
On 27 January 2022, Mystic Story confirmed reports that Billlie was preparing for a comeback, to be released in late February. On 11 February, a teaser poster was released revealing that her second mini-album The Collective Soul and Unconscious: Chapter One would be released on 23 February, and on 1 March it was announced that Billlie would release an OST album, The Collective Soul and Unconscious: Chapter One Original Soundtrack from “What is your B?”, on the same day at 6PM KST. The soundtrack includes the music used in “What is your B?”, which was released as a concept story film for their second mini album.
On the 23rd of June, a source from Mystic Story revealed that Billlie would be releasing a song through Yoon Jong Shin’s new music project in the middle of July. The song, a remake of Yoon’s song “Track by Yoon: Patbingsu”, was released on the 14th of July and on the 7th of August, Mystic Story confirmed reports that Billlie was preparing for a comeback with her third mini album, The Billage of Perception : Chapter Two, which was released on the 31st of August.
On the 8th of September, it was announced that Billlie would be releasing their second OST album, The Billage of Perception : Chapter Two Original Soundtrack from “The End of the World and the Awakening”, on the same day at 6PM KST. The soundtrack features the music used in “The End of the World and the Awakening”, which was released as a concept story film for their third mini album. Billlie, announced that they would be holding their first online XR concert “Billlie 1st Online XR Concert to commemorate their 1-year debut anniversary on November 11th and 12th.
2023: The Billage of Perception : Chapter Three, first music show win, Japanese debut, Sua’s hiatus and return, Suhyeon’s hiatus, Sua’s second hiatus, “BYOB (Bring Your Own Best Friend)”, “Side-B : Memoirs of Echo Unseen”, “‘The Billlie’s Odditorium’ The First Edition”. On 7 February 2023, OSEN reported that Billlie would be making a comeback in March with their fourth mini-album. This was confirmed by Mystic Story on the same day. On the 6th of March, it was announced that their fourth mini album, The Billage of Perception : Chapter Three, would be released on the 28th of March. On the 4th of April, the group won their first ever music show on The Show for “Eunoia”.
On the 24th of March, the group’s Japanese Twitter announced that they would be making their Japanese debut with the single “GingaMingaYo (the strange world) -Japanese ver.-” on the 17th of May, and on the 24th of April, Mystic Story announced that following the death of her brother Moon Bin, member Moon Sua would be taking a break from Billlie’s immediate future activities, starting with the promotion of their first Japanese single.

On the 12th of June, it was announced that Moon Sua would be resuming her activities, starting with the live broadcast of “Show Champion” this week. On the 15th of June, MYSTIC Story released a statement revealing that Suhyeon would be taking a break from activities due to health reasons, and on the 12th of September it was announced that Moon Sua would be taking a break due to health reasons. Billlie will then promote as five members until Suhyeon and Sua return.
On the 18th of September it was announced that Billlie would be releasing a new album in October. On the 23rd of September it was announced that they would be releasing their first single album “Side-B : Memoirs of Echo Unseen” on the 23rd of October. They also pre-released “BYOB (Bring Your Own Best Friend)” on the 27th of September. On 22 November, the group released a teaser announcing that they will release their third digital single “‘The Billlie’s Odditorium’ The First Edition” on 27 November 2023.

2024: “‘The Billlie’s Odditorium’ The Second Edition”, Knock-on Effect, Moon Sua and Suhyeon’s return from hiatus, but on 22 December 2023 it was announced that the group would release their first Japanese mini album Knock-on Effect on 7 February.
On 1 January, the group released a teaser announcing that they would be releasing their fourth digital single “‘The Billlie’s Odditorium’ The Second Edition” on 2 January. On the 12th of April it was announced that Moon Sua and Suhyeon would be returning from their hiatus.
