Acclaimed singer and former Miss A member MIN is proud to announce the release of her new mini-album ‘PRIME TIME’ on 21 June. The four-track project marks a significant evolution in MIN’s career and features the lead single ‘PRIME TIME’. Reflecting her artistic growth since her time in the K-pop industry, the mini-album is a mix of different genres.
MIN’s musical journey began in her childhood, influenced by legends such as Michael Jackson, Prince and Destiny’s Child. Her admiration for K-pop pioneer BoA fuelled her dreams of becoming a performer.
In 2010, she made her debut as a member of the iconic girl group Miss A under JYP Entertainment. The group was a huge success and gained a worldwide fanbase.
Looking back on her K-pop career, MIN notes that being a part of the successful band miss A has been an incredible experience, although it has come with its own challenges.
After being in the K-pop industry for so long, I felt like I had to exist in a certain mould, look a certain way, dress a certain way, etc.
