According to boyband Trendz, a new album will be released on June 12 before their Japanese debut, the band’s agency Global H Media announced on Tuesday.
The forthcoming release will be the first new music from the band in nine months, since the release of ‘Still On My Way’ in September last year. The band’s label did not specify whether the new album would be a single, EP or full-length.
According to Korea JoongAng Daily, following the release in Korea, Trendz will hold their first Japanese showcase at KT Zepp Yokohama in the summer, as announced by the agency in early April. Avex Trax will be in charge of the band’s activities in Japan, although no specific debut date has been announced.
The band debuted with its first EP “Blue Set Chapter 1″. Tracks”. Prior to the band’s debut, they were known for posting dance cover videos of popular K-pop songs.
