For those who need a refresher, The New Six is a dynamic South Korean boy band formed through the intense survival audition program Loud by P Nation. Made up of six talented members—Kyungjun, Taehun, Hyunsoo, Junhyeok, Hwi, and Sungjun—they burst onto the scene on May 17, 2022, with their first EP “Way Up.”

The journey to stardom wasn’t easy. The New Six was born from the crucible of the SBS K-pop reality competition program Loud, which was a collaboration between two entertainment powerhouses, JYP Entertainment and P Nation. The show, hosted by Psy and Park Jin-young, saw 75 contestants from around the globe vying for a spot in one of the two debut-worthy boy groups. Through grueling challenges showcasing their dancing, singing, rapping, and musical talents, these aspiring idols fought tooth and nail for their dream.

The excitement peaked on March 29, 2022, when TNX was officially christened, and they made their debut on May 17, 2022, with “Way Up.” Their journey continued with hits like “Love Never Dies” and “Boyhood,” solidifying their status as rising stars in the K-pop scene.

But every journey has its ups and downs. In January 2023, TNX faced a setback when member Junhyeok had to temporarily step back due to health concerns. Despite the challenges, TNX continued to shine bright, releasing hits like “Love or Die” and “Kick It 4 Now,” earning accolades like being selected as No. 14 for The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2023 by Billboard.
