The Story so far:
2011: Presentation with “Mama Kid”
At the beginning of 2011, SISTAR finished promoting for “How Dare You” and on April 28, Starship Diversion reported that they were making a sub-unit for SISTAR. They delivered a teaser on April 28.
The actual single was delivered on May 3, 2011. and a music video around the same time. The name SISTAR19 was intended to mirror the sensations of 19-year-old’s who were lacking and experience in love. The debut was introduced on M! Countdown on May 5.
2013: “Gone Not Around Any Longer”
In December 2012, Starship Diversion declared that a comeback of SISTAR19 would happen in January 2013.
On January 24, 2013, the duo delivered photograph mysteries of their rebounds and announced that their song be delivered on January 31. On January 28, SISTAR19 delivered secrets for their melody “Gone Not Around Any Longer.” On January 31, 2013, the music video and single was then delivered. “Gone Not Around Any Longer” discusses being in love but slowly floating away from it. On February 7, 2013, the practice video was released.
2017: SISTAR disbandment
Starship declared on May 23, 2017, that SISTAR would disband after delivering their last single “Desolate” on May 31.
2024: “No More (Mama Kid)”
On November 17, 2023, it was declared that SISTAR19 would get back in January 2024, On January 3, it was reported that they would release a single “No More (Mama Kid)” on January 16.
