BTS’s JIMIN finished 2023 with a flourish as the “King of K-pop” for the second year in a row.
JIMIN received a total of 748,548 votes for “The King Of Kpop 2023” on the global fan voting website “Shining Awards,” which ended on November 30, with 35.56% of the votes cast, making JIMIN number one for the second consecutive year, following last year. He was voted No. 1 for the second year in a row.
The Shining Award said, “‘The King of Kpop’ title is awarded to the most popular and talented male K-pop idol or the most famous and outstanding male K-pop artist,” and that “JIMIN is the embodiment of excellence in the vibrant world of K-pop, which is full of talent and charisma. JIMIN was voted as the male idol who has emerged as the embodiment of excellence in the vibrant and charismatic world of K-pop, and who has not only captivated the hearts of fans in 2023, but also set a new standard for musical excellence and stage presence.
He also expressed his gratitude to the fans who voted in JIMIN’s name as the winner of the Shining Award’s “King Of Kpop 2023” and informed them that he sent a donation to an organisation in need of help.
