GOT7 is a South Korean boy group that debuted on January 16, 2014, under JYP Entertainment. The group consists of seven members: Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom.
Group History
GOT7 made their debut with the EP “Got It?” which topped Billboard’s World Albums Chart. They quickly gained attention for their live performances, incorporating martial arts tricking and street dancing. The group expanded into the Japanese market in late 2014 with their single “Around the World”.Throughout their career, GOT7 released several successful albums and EPs, including “Identify,” “Just Right,” and the “Flight Log” series. Their popularity continued to grow, with their 2017 EP “Flight Log: Arrival” selling over 300,000 copies.In January 2021, GOT7’s contract with JYP Entertainment expired, and all members chose not to renew. However, the group assured fans they had not disbanded. In May 2022, GOT7 made a comeback under Warner Music Korea with a self-titled EP.
