SAY MY NAME – Kitto: The Art of Becoming Known
In their January 2026 pictorial, SAY MY NAME, Kitto sets a new tone for what it means to be a fourth-generation K-pop powerhouse. Shot with cinematic precision and styled in a palette that moves from frost-white minimalism to bold, jewel-toned futurism, the pictorial doubles as both a visual diary and a declaration of artistic metamorphosis.
“This shoot is about claiming who we are — not just idols, but creators,” one member shares. That sense of self-authorship radiates through every frame.
From Debut Spark to Creative Fire
Since their 2023 debut, Kitto’s journey has been marked by experimentation and reinvention. The pictorial commemorates a string of milestones:
- Their first million-stream single milestone in mid-2025.
- A successful Asia mini-tour that refined their performance precision.
- The launch of Kitto Lab, their new in-house visual and choreography direction team.
Each layer of SAY MY NAME feels like a culmination — and a new foundation. Every image is a study in duality: vulnerability beside power, motion beside stillness, modernity beside memory.
“We’ve learned to say our names louder — not just to be heard, but to be understood.”
Visual Language Meets Concept Evolution
The shoot unfolds in three acts mirroring the group’s creative evolution. The first act, Origins, captures the members in pared-down neutral tones—a homage to where they began. The second, Identity Bloom, is an explosion of lights, textures, and experimental poses, emphasizing how Kitto has embraced individual artistry within group synergy. The finale, Echo, fuses shadow play and digital overlays to symbolize their emerging global identity.
Art director Hwang Yejun describes it as “the sound of Kitto visualized — layered, unpredictable, and alive.”
The Future on Their Terms
As K-pop groups evolve alongside digital media, Kitto’s pictorial reminds fans of the medium’s emotional power. Every camera flash, every lyric reference embedded in the visuals, underlines one message: growth is not linear, but intentional.
With murmurs of a new EP slated for spring 2026, SAY MY NAME feels less like a seasonal feature and more like a prelude — one that places Kitto among the scene’s most fearless visual innovators.
“Our next step isn’t just another era,” says the group leader. “It’s the truth behind the names you think you already know.”
