Rosé of BLACKPINK made a triumphant return to the Met Gala, dazzling fans and fashion insiders alike with her official debut at the 2025 event. After a three-year hiatus since her first appearance in 2021, Rosé stepped onto the iconic Met steps in a custom Saint Laurent tuxedo, embodying this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”.  Her look, designed by Anthony Vaccarello, featured a plunging black suit with a dramatic oversized shawl train, complemented by vibrant red heels that added a striking pop of color.

Accessorizing her ensemble, Rosé wore a Tiffany & Co. high jewelry necklace adorned with a cushion-cut sapphire over 14 carats, surrounded by more than 11 carats of round sapphires and over 13 carats of diamonds-a possible nod to the legendary “Titanic” necklace. Her matching sapphire and diamond ring completed the look, drawing admiration from fans who praised her for exuding both elegance and edge, and for creating what many called “the birth of a new signature on the global stage”.

On the red carpet, Rosé shared her excitement about reuniting with her BLACKPINK bandmates, Jennie and Lisa, inside the event, expressing how meaningful it was to experience the evening with her “family” after attending solo in 2021. The moment was especially poignant as all three members attended the prestigious gala together for the first time, each interpreting the suit-and-tie theme in their own unique way.

Beyond her show-stopping fashion moment, Rosé delighted fans by confirming that BLACKPINK is gearing up for a new chapter. She revealed that the group recently reunited in the studio in Korea and teased the release of new music and a fresh approach for their upcoming world tour, which kicks off in July. “We’ve got new music coming up, and so I feel like that’s gonna be a whole different approach to how we storytell this next tour,” she said, fueling anticipation for what’s next from the global superstars.

Rosé’s presence at the 2025 Met Gala not only cemented her status as a fashion icon but also signaled an exciting year ahead for BLACKPINK and their fans worldwide.
