Girl group ILY:1 will release a digital single in April to celebrate the group’s two-year anniversary, the group’s agency FC ENM said Friday.
Specific details on the new release will be revealed at a later date.
The song comes five months after the group dropped its first digital single “To My Boyfriend” in October last year.
Producer P.K, who composed songs for [boy band] Treasure, composed the new release for ILY:1 and will reveal a new side of ILY:1 that has never been shown before,” FC ENM said.
ILY:1 debuted in April 2022 with the single “Love In Bloom.” The group consists of Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese members Hana, Rona, Ririka, Nayu, Ara and Elva. Hana, Ririka, Rona and Ara were formerly contestants on Mnet’s idol audition program “Girls Planet 999” (2021).

Who Are ILY:1?
ILY:1 (아일리원) is a six-member girl group under FC ENM. They debuted on April 4, 2022 with the single album “Love in Bloom”.
Their name is a combination of the word “I” and suffix “-ly,” while the “1” represents each member’s unique charm coming together as one. Additionally, “ILY” is an acronym for “I Love You”, representing the group’s love to the fans who support them.
Pre-debut
On December 24, 2021, FC ENM announced that former Girls Planet 999 contestants Hayase Hana, Lee Yunji, Chang Ching, and Kishida Ririka, would be debuting in the agency’s upcoming six-member girl group in the first half of 2022. On January 5, 2022, FC ENM confirmed the group will make their debut sometime in March 2022 and will be called ILY:1. The group’s SNS accounts and logo were also revealed later than same day at 6PM KST.
On January 10, 2022, Nayu and Lee Yunji, the latter now going under the stage name Ara, were revealed as the group’s first and second members, respectively. The next day, Ririka and Hana were revealed as the group’s third and fourth members, respectively. On January 12, Chang Ching and Elva, the former now going under the stage name Rona, were revealed as the group’s fifth and sixth members, respectively.
On January 14, 2022, it was announced that ILY:1 would release a pre-debut reality show titled ILY:0. The first episode was released on February 4, 2022 at 10PM KST through their YouTube channel.
2022: Debut with “Love in Bloom”, “Que Sera Sera”
On February 26, 2022, it was announced that the group will be debuting on March 15 with their first single album, “Love in Bloom”.
However, on March 11, it was announced that the group’s debut would be postponed to mid-April due to COVID-19.[14] On March 18, a teaser photo was posted which revealed that the album will be released on April 4, 2022.
On June 13, they officially announced that they would be returning with new music on July 19. On June 24, a scheduler was posted which revealed that the group will be releasing their second single album titled, “Que Sera Sera”.
2023: “Thanks To…”, A Dream Of ILY:1, New Chapter, “To My Boyfriend”
On December 15, 2022, it was announced that the group would be releasing their first mini album in January 2023. A day later, a scheduler posted on the group’s SNS revealed their first mini album titled A Dream Of ILY:1, set to release on January 5, 2023. On December 20, it was revealed that a pre-release single, “Thanks To…”, will be released on December 25, 2022.
On June 14, News1 reported that ILY:1 would be having a comeback at the end of July. On June 26, a teaser was posted on the group’s SNS revealed their second mini album titled New Chapter, set to release on July 25.
On September 22, it was announced that ILY:1 will be having a comeback in late October. On October 3, a coming soon teaser was posted on the group’s SNS revealed their first digital single titled “To My Boyfriend”, set to release on October 24.
