BTS’ Jungkook’s “Seven” is the biggest hit outside the US.
The song topped the list of “The Hottest Hits Outside the U.S.” released by Billboard earlier this week, beating out hits such as Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” and Taylor Swift’s “Cruel Summer”, which came in at number two and three respectively.
The ranking is based on global chart performance from 8 April last year to 8 March this year, including online streaming and digital sales in more than 200 countries, excluding the US.
Released on the 14th of July, Jungkook’s debut solo song has enjoyed immense popularity around the world, topping the Billboard Hot 100 main singles chart for 15 consecutive weeks. It also became the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams on global music streaming platform Spotify according to Yonhap News Agency.
