On January 27, KINO successfully kicked off his first live event called BORN NAKED: LIVE IN SEOUL at Musinsa Garage in Seoul, South Korea. The event was presented by South Korean concert promoter Highjinkx, who has previously brought a diverse array of artists such as Oxxxymiron, summer salt, iri, and king of convenience to South Korea.
The concert was a significant milestone in the KINO’s career. Not only was it his first live concert in Korea since establishing his own label, NAKED, but it was also held on his birthday. Through this show, he proudly showcased the new musical direction that he will be pursuing in this next chapter of his career.
The evening was filled with a vast array of songs, all composed by KINO himself and rearranged for a live band set. From fan favorites like “POSE” and “How it was” to unreleased gems like “Dancing On The Road,” the audience was treated to an engaging set that left no room for dull moments. A highlight of the night was when KINO performed his latest single, “Fashion Style,” which resonated with the audience and led to them singing and chanting along in unison.
What made the concert special was the strong bond and interaction KINO shared with his fans. Through “Soundscape” effects, he managed to stimulate the audience’s senses, providing an immersive and unforgettable experience. KINO shared an intimate moment with his fans by sharing personal stories from his tour diary, written every day during the 30 days leading up to the concert. Additionally, during the performance of “Fly Me To The Moon,” KINO performed in the middle of the crowd, creating an even more unforgettable moment with the audience.
