Rookie boy band Evnne are set to embark on their first-ever tour of North and Central America in August, which will take them to eight cities across Canada, the United States, Puerto Rico and Mexico.

Evnne will kick off the tour, which is titled “Evnne Show[K]ase Tour ‘Ride With Evnne’ in Americas”, with a concert at Le National in Montreal, Canada on the 7th of August.

They will also perform in Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Fort Worth and Los Angeles in USA, San Juan in Puerto Rico and Mexico City in Mexico.

A poster showing the tour dates and venues was uploaded to the band’s social media pages on Thursday. Ticket sales information will be announced at a later date.

Evnne wrapped up their first Asian tour, which saw the band perform in six regions over two months starting in March, with a final show in Yokohama, Japan on Monday.

Who Are Evnne?

EVNNE (Korean: 이븐; Japanese: イブン) is a seven member project boy group under the Jellyfish Entertainment. They made their debut on 19 September 2023 with the mini album Target: Me. Similar to I.B.I., RAINZ and JBJ, the group consists of former Boys Planet members who didn’t reach the top 9. The group’s special contract will last for one and a half years as it will end sometime in March 2025.

On the 11th of December 2021, Mnet announced that the male version of Girls Planet 999, titled Boys Planet, would be coming in the year 2022. On 25 June 2022, Mnet officially confirmed that they were planning to air Boys Planet in the first half of 2023. On 28 November 2022, Mnet officially announced that Boys Planet would premiere in February 2023. The first teaser was unveiled during the 2022 MAMA Awards.

On the 3rd of August 2023, it was officially confirmed that seven trainees from Boys Planet would debut in a project boy group called BLIT. The group will be managed by Jellyfish Entertainment. The members include Rain Company artist and Ciipher member Keita, WAKEONE trainees Hanbin, Jeonghyeon, Junghyun and Jihoo, and Yue Hua Entertainment trainees Seungeon and Yunseo.

Due to possible misinterpretation of the original group name, the group changed their name to EVNNE on the 9th of August. The group also opened SNS accounts on the same day.

On the 16th of August it was announced that EVNNE would be making their debut on the 19th of September, and then on the 23rd of August a schedule was released which revealed that the group would be making their debut on the 19th of September with the mini album Target: Me.

On the 29th of December 2023, it was announced that EVNNE would be releasing their second mini album, Un: Seen, on 22 January 2024 and on 8 May, EVNNE announced that they would release their third mini album, Ride or Die, on 17 June.
