Boy band Blitzers will hold its first concert in India on April 12, the band’s agency, Wuzo Entertainment, said Tuesday.
Titled “Blitzers Live in Aizawl,” the concert will take place at the LPS Arena in Aizawl, the capital and largest city of the state of Mizoram in northeast India.
Blitzers’ members greeted their Mizoram fans and expressed their excitement for the upcoming concert in a video uploaded to the band’s Instagram page on Friday.
“We’re so excited to announce that we’re going to Aizawl, India, on April 12,” member Chris said.
“Please look forward to Blitzers in Aizawl. See you soon,” Lutan added.
The band was invited to hold the concert in India by the country’s local companies Pink Box Entertainment, which organized concerts for other K-pop acts like Hyolyn and Kim Woo-jin, and Namaste Hallyu, a website dedicated to Korean entertainment.
Tickets for the concert can be purchased at triket.in.
Blitzers debuted as a seven-member band in 2021 with its first EP, “Check-in.” It now consists of Juhan, Jinhwa, Sya, Chris, Lutan, and Wooju after Go_U left the band in January.
