The popular all-girl K-Pop group Blackpink’s album Born Pink has been honoured with the silver Brit certification, marking their second album to achieve this recognition in the UK. On February 9, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) announced that the K-pop supergroup’s 2022 album Born Pink had been officially certified with a silver BRIT certification.

Born Pink’s performance Born Pink was released in September 2022, marking the group’s first full-length record since The Album in 2020. According to the BPI’s certification thresholds, albums are certified silver upon reaching 60,000 units sold, while singles achieve silver certification at 200,000 units sold. Born Pink is officially certified with a silver BRIT certification. Blackpink’s other work

Blackpink has previously attained silver certification in the United Kingdom with their 2020 album THE ALBUM, as well as with their singles Kiss and Make UpKill This LoveDDU-DU DDU-DU, and How You Like That, as reported by Soompi. Born Pink was backed by two singles, both of which claimed the number one spot on the Billboard Global 200 chart. The pre-release single Pink Venom dominated the national charts of 10 countries, reaching number two on South Korea’s Circle Digital Chart and number 22 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
