VVUP released its first digital single, “Doo Doom Chit,” on March 13 as a pre-release to the upcoming single.

Earattack, the producer behind “Doo Doom Chit,” also produced “Locked On.” He has been credited as a producer for such hits as BTS’s “Dope” (2015), Twice’s “One Spark” and GOT7’s “Hard Carry” (2016).
 
Dance crew La Chica participated in creating the choreography for the upcoming single.
 
VVUP is a multinational group comprising Korean members Hyunny and Suyeon, Indonesian member Kim and Thai member Paan. The girl group is the first act to debut under the EgoENT label.
 
Leader Hyunny competed on MBC’s audition program “My Teenage Girls” (2021) to finish at No. 11 among 83 contestants. Kim was a contestant on “The Voice Kids Indonesia” (2016) and “The Indonesian Next Big Star” (2022). She made her solo debut in February 2019 with the single “Shine“ (ft. ELS & Willy Winarko) under the stage name KIM!.

Who Are VVUP?

VVUP are an upcoming four member girl group under EgoENT. They will make their debut on the 1st of April 2024 with the digital single ‘Locked On’.

In the name ‘VVUP’, ‘VV’ stands for ‘W’, the first letter of ‘WIN’. It also conveys the idea of constantly rising to the top and their intention to spread hope to the public with their unique positive energy.

Pre-debut
On 22 February 2024, news articles reported that EgoENT will debut as an upcoming girl group in the first half of 2024, and will release a pre-debut single on 13 March.

On the 23rd of February, the group released their first group photo and announced their first pre-debut single “Doo Doom Chit”. Later on 26 February, they revealed their first member to be Hyunny and their pre-debut release date to be 13 March 2024. Kim was revealed on the 27th, followed by Paan on the 28th and Suyeon on the 29th.

2024: “Locked On”
On 25th March 2024, VVUP announced that they would be debuting on 1st April with the digital single “Locked On”.
