K-pop artists such as Jaejoong and Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk have canceled their participation in a Christmas festival in Vietnam.

As a result of an interview with MyDaily, “K-POP FESTIVAL OPEN AIR #2” will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam on December 23rd and 24th.

Artists who were scheduled to appear on the show have announced their non-participation one after another. The main reason for non-participation was said to be a violation of the contract by the organizers. K-pop singers and local singers were scheduled to participate in the two-day Christmas festival.

According to the lineup released by BOM Entertainment, which organizes this festival, on the 23rd, Highlight, INFINITE, SUPER JUNIOR-D&E , EXO’s Chen & Xiumin, The Wind, TRI․ BE, on the 24th will be Jaejoong, Highlight, 2PM’s Nichkhun & Jun. K , MAMAMOO+, a unit consisting of Sora & Moonbyul, and TRI․ BE, EXO’s Chanyeol, Raiden, The Wind, and others were scheduled to appear. Most of the performers, including BE, decided not to participate in the performance due to the organizer’s repeated violations of contracts, the difficulty of exchanging information, and the lack of transparency regarding local performance permits.

Tickets for “K-POP FESTIVAL OPEN AIR #2 ” ranged from about 800,000 won (87,000 yen) for the VIP seats to about 50,000 won (about 5,500 yen) for the second floor seats.
