Park Bo-ram (Korean: 박보람; 1 March 1994 – 11 April 2024) was a South Korean singer. She participated in Mnet’s SuperStar K2 and finished in eighth place. Park made her debut on 7 August 2014 with the digital single “Beautiful” featuring Zico. In the same year, she was named Artist of the Year for August at the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards. She was also nominated for Best New Artist at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, Golden Disc Awards and Melon Music Awards. She died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 30 after collapsing at her friend’s home, with police investigating the cause of death.
“We are here to share sorrowful and heartbreaking news. Park Bo-ram suddenly passed away late at night on April 11,” the Xanadu statement said. “All of the artists and executives at Xanadu Entertainment are deeply mourning the deceased with great sadness. It is even more heartbreaking that we have to tell you this sudden news to all of the fans who support Park Bo Ram. The funeral will be held after consulting with the bereaved family. Once again, we send our deepest condolences to the deceased so she may rest in peace.”

The agency urged the public to refrain from making speculative reports out of respect for her family and colleagues. Police are reportedly investigating the cause of death.
Park was 17 when she competed in the wildly popular second season of “Superstar K,” ultimately finishing as a Top 7 finalist. She made her debut in August 2014 with her single “Beautiful (feat. Zico of Block B),” which charted on multiple rankings that year.
Throughout her career, the singer released two EPs, “Celepretty” (2015) and “Orange Moon” (2017), as well as 20 singles, including her most recent track, “I Miss You,” released on April 3.
She was set to release a full-length album this year to commemorate the 10th anniversary of her debut.
