BTS Jungkook has made history with the most nominations ever for a K-pop solo artist at the ‘2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards’, highlighting his remarkable presence. Announced on January 18th, Jungkook’s first solo album ‘GOLDEN’ is nominated in the ‘Favorite Debut Album’ category at this year’s awards.

Moreover, his solo singles ‘Seven’ and ‘3D’ are both contenders for the ‘Best Music Video’ category, marking Jungkook as the only artist with multiple songs nominated in this category. He faces competition from renowned tracks such as Doja Cat’s ‘Paint The Town Red’ and Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘vampire,’ all of which topped Billboard’s main song chart ‘Hot 100.’

Jungkook is also the sole solo artist nominated in the ‘Kpop Artist Of The Year’ category and has been nominated for ‘Kpop Song Of The Year’ with ‘Seven’, totaling four nominations. This year, he has the most nominations among K-pop artists at the awards, raising expectations for potential wins.

Jungkook is also nominated in four categories at the ‘2024 People’s Choice Awards’ (PCAs), including ‘Pop Artist of the Year,’ ‘Male Artist of the Year,’ ‘New Artist of the Year,’ and ‘Collaboration Song of the Year.’ This also sets a record for the most PCA nominations ever received by a K-pop solo artist.

Previously, Jungkook won ‘Song of Summer’ at the ‘2023 MTV Video Music Awards,’ ‘Best Song’ at the ‘2023 MTV Europe Music Awards,’ and ‘Top Global K-Pop Song’ at the ‘2023 Billboard Music Awards’ with ‘Seven.’
