Myteen (Hangul: 마이틴; stylized MYTEEN, short for My Teenager) is a South Korean boy band formed by The Music Works in 2016 and debuted in 2017 with the release of their debut extended play Myteen Go!. The group consists of seven members: Lee Taevin, Chunjin, Eunsu, Kim Gukheon, Shin Junseop, Song Yuvin, and Hanseul.

Pre-debut

In May 2016, Music Works formally announced their plans to debut an eight-member boy band called Myteen in the group's name is a portmanteau of words "my" and "teenager" and reportedly meant that the group would be composed of idols who are vibrant and bright as teenagers. Former Superstar K6 contestant Yuvin became the first official member of the group. The rest of the members were introduced on August 27 when Myteen opened for Baek Ji-young's concert titled "Andante", where they performed "Amazing" (Hangul: 어마어마하게), which would be part of their debut album.

To further promote their group, Myteen performed at selected middle and high schools in each region of South Korea as part of their "Follow Myteen" tour between October and November 2016. In January 2017, they held their first international fan meeting at Hong Kong and had their first reality show Trainee Escape Project - Myteen Go! (Hangul: 연습생 탈출 프로젝트 - 마이틴 GO!) aired on MBC Music.

2017: Debut with Myteen Go! and "MIXNINE"

Myteen debuted on July 26 with the release of their extended play Myteen Go!. The album contains seven tracks, and the title track was the song "Amazing". The group then made their official debut stage the following day on the music program M Countdown. In October 2017, Chunjin, Eunsu, Gukheon and Junseob participated on the survival show MIXNINE but only Chunjin, Gukheon and Junseob passed the auditions and made it into the Top 170.
